This seal refers to the “Act  on the Promotion of Environment-Friendly Agriculture And Fisheries and the Management of and Support for Organic Foods, Etc.” which includes the organic certification of the Korean Republic’s Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (MIFAFF). This certification aims to develop, maintain and expandincrease the access of organic products from foreign countries to the South Korean market.

The JAS certification relates to organic production certified for the Japanese market and regulated by the Japanese MAFF – Ministry for Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing.
